The SelectTech combines a sleek look locking mechanism that allows the user to securely change the weight on the handle. The mechanism only works while the handle is inserted into the base, eliminating the chance of accidents with dropped plates. Covered with a unique injection moulded plastic, the plates won't clank and clatter when they are set down. The cover also keeps weights from scratching floors or other surfaces they might touch. And no matter how sweaty the workout gets the covering protects the weights from corrosive rust.
