Black Cohosh

Black Cohosh is derived from the dark root of the plant Cimicifuga racemosa also known as black snakeroot and squaw vine, which is indigenous to North America. Black Cohosh is rich in isoflavones, also called phytoestrogens, constituents found in some plants such as soy. These phytoestrogens are currently the focus of much media interest.
